Do you have a showroom?
No – we have decided at Stones of Distinction that a dedicated showroom is very location specific and will not cater for, or be accessible to, the entire UK market. We are an internet based company, which reduces overheads, enables us to keep our prices down, offer free delivery and send out larger samples than our competitors.
Do my tiles need to be sealed?
Yes, all stone needs to be sealed after installation to protect it from staining and dirt.
Which sealant should I use?
Select “sealant” option and you will be guided through the appropriate sealants for you selected stone.
Will all my tiles be like the website picture?
The website picture gives an indication of the colour of the stone but all monitors depict colour slightly differently, so it is always best to order a sample. All stone tiles are subject to natural colour and shade variations - each tile will be similar but not identical.
How does the quality of your stone compare to other retailers?
All our stone is first quality material sourced from premier quarries around the world. We are more than happy to issue free samples for comparison of our quality stone with that of other retailers – you may find cheaper - but you won’t find better!
Are your samples free of charge?
See “Samples” section.
How big are your samples and how long will it be before I receive them?
Do you offer trade discounts?
See “Trade Enquiries” section.
Can I order a certain number of tiles or does it have to be per square metre?
All Stones of Distinction tiles come specially packaged in styrofoam containers to preserve the tiles both in transit and whilst being stored. Due to this we do not “split cartons” as the tiles may become damaged. You can only order full cartons which vary in size depending on the stone and size of tile.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept “online” payment by Credit/Debit cards, also by cheque and direct bank transfer. All products are to be paid for in full prior to delivery. We cannot accept “payment on delivery” as we utilise a pallet distribution company for delivery.
How long will it take for my goods to be delivered?
See “Delivery” section.
